Hawaiian texts from mission and government presses dating from 1823. This collection of Hawaiian-language books includes hymnals, religious tracts, and school texts translated into Hawaiian and printed by the missionaries for use in teaching the Hawaiian people. There are also a small number of texts in other Pacific languages.
